We live in New York, so we knew planning a destination wedding would come with additional challenges. But from day 1, Clémentine’s warmth and approachability made us feel comfortable discussing every detail, big or small. She truly listened to our vision and ideas, offering insightful suggestions to help guide us where we weren’t sure (which was a lot!). Her attention to detail, from the early planning to the big day, allowed us to feel confident that the whole wedding weekend would go smoothly and nothing would be forgotten. From coordinating vendors to managing the timeline and budget, everything flowed seamlessly. She was meticulously on top of every detail, and really brought our vision to life.
We made a single one-week trip to France for planning purposes, and Clémentine arranged everything for us, including multiple catering tastings, wine tasting, venue tour, and make-up trial appointments, as well as a pre-wedding photoshoot with Mark. She organized all our contracts and was our single point of contact to all the vendors, which was SO easy for us (we can’t overstate how convenient this is). We had two close friends planning their weddings during the same year, and suffice to say they both wished they had a Clémentine instead of the planners that they hired!
Even though we had never done any professional photoshoots before, Mark’s friendly nature made us feel comfortable in front of a camera. He’s definitely a wedding pro and all our guests loved him! On the wedding day, he helped the groomsmen tie their bowties, he kept tissues in his pocket for a tearful bride (happy tears), and he even got the 2 year old to look at the camera during the family group shots. We also highly recommend taking Mark’s advice for the sunset photoshoot! You will not be disappointed. These are our favorite pictures of the whole day :)

We came across Awardweddings as we were searching for a wedding venue in the South West of France. We weren’t originally thinking of hiring a wedding planner, but looking back it was the best decision we made and we couldn’t imagine having done it without Clémentine! Mark’s photography styles were exactly what we were looking for, so it was an easy decision to work with each of them independently and an added bonus that they can come as a team.
Throughout the entire wedding planning process and wedding day itself, Clémentine was invaluable and it was like having a good friend guiding us through. Her vision perfectly matched what we had discussed, and she executed it to the highest quality whilst respecting our budget. We really appreciated her responsiveness and flexibility in her availability. On the day somehow Clémentine was in all places at once, but never in the way, ensuring everything ran smoothly and allowing us to soak in the day.
We were lucky to meet with Mark a few times before our wedding day, including a pre-wedding shoot, which helped us get to know each other and feel comfortable in front of the camera. Mark was at our venue the day before the wedding, scouting for the best locations and helping with final preparations. On the day he made everyone feel comfortable and gave lots of good advice. He made sure not to keep us away from our guests for too long during our couple shoots, so that we could also fully enjoy the day with our guests.

"Having Clémentine plan our wedding was the best decision we made for the wedding! From the first meeting, Clémentine gave us the confidence that we could plan a French wedding remotely (from Australia). Through every stage of the process, Clémentine was prepared and across every detail. We had most of the major decisions made 7 months before with Clémentine's encouragement. That left us 6 or so months to slowly and carefully work through all the small details. Johnny and I got married in May 2022, and Mark was our photographer. After many hesitations, we went for the package pictures+movie. Pictures are superb but the movie is absolutely amazing. Planning a wedding abroad during a pandemic is not an easy task but Clémentine made the whole process completely stress free. Even with Covid postponements, we were never worried as we knew all the planning was in safe hands with Clémentine and she did not disappoint. In June 2022, we had the wedding of our dreams and it really was all thanks to Clémentine and her amazing planning skills. Every detail was planned perfectly and she made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. Our guests are still telling us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to!
Clémentine's husband Mark was our photographer and videographer and he was absolutely fantastic on the day. I'm not usually someone who enjoys getting my photo taken (especially during a French heatwave!) but he was so patient and encouraging which ensured we got some great shots of our special day.

"Based on the recommendation from Chateau Saint-Michel we contacted Clementine in 2018 to help us plan our wedding that was supposed to take place in the summer of 2019.
As we all know there was a pandemic outbreak that led us to postpone our wedding until 2022.
Through all the frustrating and dissapointing postponements Clementine kept us informed on what was happening and secured new dates with all suppliers.
On our big day Clementine had full control and made sure we could relax and focus on looking good for the pictures :-)

"Planning an international wedding is a daunting task, especially if you aren't fluent in (my case) French. I am a deep researcher in anything I tackle and after interviewing some planners, it became clear that Clémentine had integrity, honesty, an eye for design, and a mind toward keeping a budget. Many of the other planners I spoke with felt superficial, and were only interested in the glitz and glamour while Clem wanted to get to know US. That made all the difference.
We can't imagine planning our wedding without Clémentine and Mark. Her experience and relationships with other vendors were invaluable! It was a true collaboration and her recommendations were always spot on.
To be able to work with a husband and wife duo (wedding planner and photographer/videographer) allowed for us to have conversations about the flow of the day and how to best capture and share this important, yet fleeting moment in our life with intention.
They visited the venue for us, sending video, photos, and feedback. And when we were thinking of options for the ceremony location, they gave excellent advice based on their knowledge of what we valued and their on-the-ground experience. They (very smartly) suggested an engagement shoot in the lavender fields during our whirlwind trip to visit vendors before our big day--something that we never imagined possible-- which ended up being a highlight of our trip. Truly, an experience we'll never forget! Most importantly, we had the chance to get to know Mark and how he approaches shoots, so on our wedding day, he had our complete trust and had so much fun during our couples shoot!

"I don’t even know where to start! We just simply can’t recommend Clementine and Mark highly enough. We wanted a small, intimate wedding with just our closest family and friends, beyond that I didn’t really have much of a vision for what I wanted the day to look or feel like. Somehow in the conversations we had with Clementine she captured exactly the atmosphere we wanted. When we saw everything come together I was completely wowed by how it felt and how beautiful it looked. She had the perfect recommendations for other vendors and was so helpful and responsive when we questions. Planning a destination wedding definitely adds a layer of difficulty - we weren’t able to see our venue in person, or meet with other vendors (florist, caterer, etc) but the end result was everything we could have ever wanted, and that's entirely due to Clementine.
And MARK! He just knew exactly what we needed on the day of our wedding. I was so touched by the care he took, and how comfortable he made everyone feel. One of the best parts of our reception was Mark taking photos of all the couples at the end of the night - totally impromptu, but so much fun and such a great memory to be able to share with all of our guests. He knew exactly how to capture all of the important details without intruding on the special moments, and made it clear throughout the day he was there for whatever we needed.

"Where do I even start?! Mark and Clémentine are a great team and are an absolute delight to interact with! Being from the States, we sought to find a talented videographer in foreign land, a process which required extensive research and at times left us uncertain and somewhat hesitant of the unknown ahead. So charming, charismatic, and he speaks so eloquently that I honestly just want to frame everything he says and hang it on the wall haha! It’s gotta be the English chap within him! All of that hesitation of not knowing what to expect had just melted away and in short, all I can say is that Mark just makes you feel comfortable and even more, special. He wit, humor, and zealous manner of speaking assured us that we could not have found a more perfect person to film our special occasion. You can tell that he loves what he does and that he genuinely cares about what your end goal is. He cares about all the “little” details that make up the big picture, which we really appreciated because it is great to be working with someone who wants to combine both your vision and their own creativity/skills to make something magical.
When we met Mark, he only continued to exceed our expectations. He was calm, cool, collected, professional, and when he shoots his footage, he knows what looks good. He has a creative eye and a brilliant mind, but most importantly, his kind heart makes all the difference in your experience when working with him. He is very patient, knows how to perfectly balance your desires with his artistic vision, makes you feel beautiful and happy (which is very important when being photographed on your occasion—we have had some poor experiences in the past), and he doesn’t make you feel like he is counting the minutes on the clock so he can charge you extra in the end. He patiently stayed with us after the session to try to help us with something and made us feel like we were dear friends. You can just tell how genuine he is. Also, it was a bit chilly on the evening of our shoot and unprompted, offered me a jacket—so sweet and thoughtful and I won’t ever forget that. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience rather than making it feel like a business transaction. Again, his great personality made all the difference. Clémentine, you have a gem! And to top everything off- he presented us with a fantastic film from our session- which was the product of not only his many skills, but his fabulous personality. In his film, he was able to capture an air of genuine happiness, romance, playfulness, and it was not just because of us interacting us a couple, but because we were also thriving off of his positive vibes and kind words while guiding us. We have dealt with a number of photographers and videographers, and I say with confidence that Mark is (how they say in France) the “crème de la crème”! Look no further for your special occasion than this dynamic duo comprised of Mark and Clémentine! Book them. Now.
