French antique wedding in the South West of France
Hello lovely couples! We are excited to share here a retrospective on this gorgeous French antique wedding we planned, styled, photographed and filmed in this atmospheric chateau in the South West of France...
The South West of France is filled with gorgeous chateaux and domains, all unique. End of September 24', this lovely couple came from America with their nearest and dearest to celebrate their wedding in this charming and atmospheric chateau.
A pre-wedding shoot
The couple wasn't able to come to France prior to the wedding so on arrival, they had a pre-wedding shoot with the photographer, Mark, to get to know each other, and most of all, to get some great photos of them two!

The welcome evening
They started the celebrations with a welcome evening of savoury and sweet crepes, grazing tables, cocktails and live French music.

The wedding morning and brides details
As you know, we just love creating beautiful flatlays with all the details of the bride... Here are a few images

Welcome to the wedding
Guests were welcome with a glass of bubbles to this lovely area!

A magical ceremony
On the day, the rain accompanied the day so the set up for the ceremony had to be indoors. Looking at this gorgeous set up, often, the plan B is just as nice and even more magical than the plan A. Imagine this chateau salon orned with these gorgeous flowers, celebrating in an intimate ceremony. The couples walked in and out of the ceremony on the sound of Scottish music.

Cocktails and canapés
The cocktail reception took place on the chateau ground floor on the sound of French jazz live music. Cocktails and canapes also kept the guests entertained! If you were planning your wedding outdoors and have to activate the plan B, please dont be disheartenned, it's always just as fantastic! And don't forget that guests don't spend all their weekends in French Chateaux so they will be delighted to hang out inside!

A memorable dinner
With a Knights room like this, you can only plan your wedding in there! What a fantastic atmosphere in this room and how unusual and special, don't you think?
The table scape was just amazing on this dinner, so much thought went into it! Starting with the flowers, we alternated central compositions and bud vases. We completed the antique look with antique brass candle holders and vintage looking stationery.
The vintage glasses were all different for the wine, champagne and water, creating movement on the table. And each course had a different plate of red vintage, golden trim or flowery.
We also brought the ceremony flowers in the room to decorate the fire place. It was just all divine!

Sunset time
The weather lifted in the evening and as you may have noticed, Mark always seeks out for the best sunsets. He had spotted this perfect place for it and stole the couple for a shorti time in order to get some gorgeous photos...

A fantastic party
The bride surprised the groom with an incredible Dabke performance to kick off the night, to celebrate his origins. We also had an evening buffet of delicious Lebanese food. It was dry by then so the party took place under the stars.
After the show, a DJ took over for the rest of the night.
We also loved the change of dress for the bride!

What a fantastic and memorable edding it was!!
